Anam Cara held a 'Celebration of Life' event in both Barretstown Estate and Clonmel during December.
Understanding how difficult this time of the year is for families, these 'Celebration of Life' events gives them an opportunity to take some time to remember and celebrate the life of their child or sibling with others who really do understand how tough and lonely this time of the year can be.
We would like to thank the Anam Cara Volunteers in Tipperary and the Midlands for taking the time to organise these special events and providing the refreshments afterwards. We appreciate the poignant contributions from Brid Carroll and Peter Hanlon to the Remembrance Service. Finally we want to thank Barretstown and the Presentation School in Clonmel for providing the beautiful venue for both events and making us feel so welcome.
