Anam Cara continues to offer parents a safe and comfortable place environment where they can connect with other parents who have experienced the devastating death of a son or daughter. Anam Cara Groups can be found in the following locations, Cork, Dublin, Galway, Donegal, Mayo, Tipperary and Northern Ireland.
Either monthly or bi monthly these groups host Parent Evening. These areco-faciliated by a bereavement professional and Anam Cara Volunteers. The core essense of our parents evenings continues to be peer support, as who else could really understands the devastation and sense of loss a Mum or Dad experiences only another bereaved Mum or Dad.
